The National Agriculture Genetic Resources Centre of the Nepal Agricultural Research Council coordinates collecting efforts in Nepal.
Collectors from the National Agriculture Genetic Resources Centre will target crop wild relatives in the gene pools of 16 crops: oat, barley, finger millet, sweet potato, rice, pearl millet, alfalfa, carrot, grass pea, apple, eggplant, banana, vetch, pigeon pea, chickpea and cowpea. Collecting will take place during the project period 2015 – 2017.
