The Project’s collecting efforts in Lebanon are coordinated by the Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute (LARI), a governmental organization under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of Lebanon.
Collectors from the Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute will target crop wild relatives from ten wild genepools: oat, pea, chickpea, barley, grass pea, lentil, alfalfa, rye, bread wheat, and common vetch. Collecting will take place during the project period of 2015-2017.
