The Project’s collecting efforts in Cyprus are coordinated by the Agricultural Research Institute (ARI) of Cyprus’s Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and the Environment.
Collectors from the Agricultural Research Institute will target crop wild relatives from nine wild genepools: alfalfa, barley, bread wheat, carrot, common vetch, faba bean, grasspea, lentil, and oat. Collecting will take place during the project period of 2014-2015.
