Genepools
The Project’s collecting efforts in Azerbaijan are coordinated by the Genetic Resources Institute of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
Collectors from the Genetic Resources Institute will target crop wild relatives from thirteen wild genepools: alfalfa, apple, barley, bread wheat, carrot, grasspea, lentil, oat, pea, pearl millet, rye, sorghum, and vetch. Collecting will take place during the project period of 2015-2017.
