The Spanish Institute for Agricultural and Food Research and Technology (INIA) coordinates collecting efforts in Spain.
Collectors from INIA will target crop wild relatives in the gene pools of nine crops: oat, barley, grass pea, lentil, alfalfa, rye, garden pea, bread wheat and faba bean. Collecting will take place during the project period 2016 – 2017.
