The Project’s collecting efforts in Malaysia are coordinated by the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI), a Malaysian governmental organization dedicated to research in the fields of food, agriculture and agro-industry.
Collectors from the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute will target crop wild relatives from six wild genepools: banana, eggplant, pigeon pea, potato, rice, and sorghum. Collecting will take place during the project period of 2015-2017.
